Rolla, Mo.– Oct. 2, 2018 – Brewer Science is pleased to invite the public to learn more about Rolla manufacturers by attending a Manufacturing Day Exhibition on Oct. 9 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The event will be held in the Chat Conference Room at Brewer Science, located at 2401 Brewer Dr., Rolla, MO.
The day’s activities will include exhibits by the following Rolla manufacturers, organizations and educational resources:
Mo-Sci Corporation; Brewer Science; MachMotion; Hartmann US, Inc.; Cost Effective Equipment; Central Workforce Development; Department of Economic Development; East Central College; Missouri Enterprise; and Rolla Technical Institute. The exhibit hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Several Rolla manufacturers will provide guided tours of their manufacturing areas at the following times:

Those interested in tours should be at the lobby of the manufacturer approximately 5 minutes before the tour begins. Tours are approximately 30 minutes in length and will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
Panel Discussion
At 11 a.m., Dr. Ted Day, CEO of Mo-Sci Corporation; Tom Brown, Executive Director of Manufacturing, Quality and Logistics at Brewer Science; Nathan Ayres, Director of Marketing and Sales of MachMotion; and Joel Doepker, Vice President of External Relations and Center for Workforce Development and Grant Programs at East Central College will discuss “Manufacturing Today and Tomorrow – State of Manufacturing.” All are welcome to attend.
Manufacturing Day is for anyone wishing to learn more about manufacturing. Attendees will visit booths from local Missouri businesses, tour manufacturing facilities and hear from industry leaders. Manufacturing Day provides a way to educate the future workforce about careers in manufacturing, show the diversity found in those careers and help people learn more about the expectation of today’s manufacturer.
